Dusty Apricot

This yarn is made from blending a collection of fibre used in other small batches going through the mill over the year. The fibres have been blended together and then further blended with alpaca grown in Hamurana (40%).  An overall apricot colour but dusty from some natural dark fleece included.

Weight / ply :  DK / 8 ply

Fibre :    Collected mixed sheep blends / alpaca 40% 

Meterage:  180 to 190m (200-210 yd) / 100g

Recommended needles: 4-5.5mm (7-9 US)

Approximate gauge:

Due to the nature of my small batch mill, yarn is not like fully commercial yarn and often looks more like a handspun with variations in thickness throughout the yarn.  Each batch is measured on a McMorrin scale to give an approximate length per 100g.  Please enjoy the non-commercial qualities of the yarn. 

Care Instructions:  All of my yarn is non-superwash.  Gentle wash with appropriate product such as Powerscour® Fibre wash.  Do not wring.  Towel dry and then lay flat until completely dry (in the shade).  With pure wool only occasional washing is recommended.
