Mill mix sage

This yarn is made from blending a collection of fibre used in other small batches going through the mill over the year. All the greens have been blended together and then further blended with alpaca grown in Hamurana (40%).  An overall sage colour but subtle heathering seen as well.  PLEASE NOTE THE PHOTO MOST CLOSE TO ACTUAL COLOUR IS THE CLOSE UP (4TH ONE),

Fibre :    Collected mixed sheep blends / alpaca 40% 

Meterage:  200m (240 yd) / 100g

Recommended needles: 3.75 to 5mm (5 to 8 US)

Due to the nature of my small batch mill, yarn is not like fully commercial yarn and often looks more like a handspun with variations in thickness throughout the yarn.  Each batch is measured on a McMorrin scale to give an approximate length per 100g.  Please enjoy the non-commercial qualities of the yarn. 

Care Instructions:  All of my yarn is non-superwash.  Gentle wash with appropriate product such as Powerscour® Fibre wash.  Do not wring.  Towel dry and then lay flat until completely dry (in the shade).  With pure wool only occasional washing is recommended.
